![]() Hence, warfare-since times immemorial the final merciless arbiter in international disputes-has lost much of its effectiveness and nearly all of its glamor. The technical development of implements of violence has now reached the point where no political goal could conceivably correspond to their destructive potential or justify their actual use in armed conflict. There were of course times where I wondered if anyone would even like Valkyrie Cursed but the response to the book has been overwhelming. For me, this is huge, I’ve never had a book do this well and now I’m keeping track of figures, I’ve got a record to beat for next time. Valkyrie Cursed has so far made it up to #25 in the Magic Realism category, and up to #2,000 in the whole Amazon store. Releasing a book with a week-long plan is a tough regime, and it’s even tougher when you really care about succeeding. I barely slept four hours a night – I don’t even have kids – and I ate more junk food than I have the last three months.
